Introduction

Through an introductory program that combines guidance, practical application, and gradual deepening, you will have the opportunity to build the right skills for the role. After the introductory period, you will begin your assignment at Systemsvets – a company with high demands on quality, documentation, and professional customer interaction.



Information about the position

Professionals Nord is conducting this initiative in close collaboration with Systemsvets to meet the industry's need for new welding assemblers.

You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Systemsvets for at least 18 months. Provided that the collaboration works well, the goal is for the employment to subsequently transition to Systemsvets.

Information about the introductory period

The introductory period is designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills required to feel secure in the role of a welding assembler. The program consists of guided moments, practical application, and self-deepening.

During the period, you will be introduced to:

  • Welding technology and assembly of stainless steel piping systems
  • Industrial assembly and piping installation
  • Work according to drawings, instructions, and documentation requirements
  • Safety, quality, and work methods in industrial environments
  • Customer interaction and work on site

Timeline for the introductory period
  • Preparatory period: May 4 – May 29
  • Introductory block 1: June 1 – July 3
  • Deepening period: July 6 – July 24
  • Practical days at the workplace: August 17–19
  • Introductory block 2: July 27 – September 11

There is an opportunity for study support throughout the introductory period.

About Systemsvets

Systemsvets specializes in welding and assembly of stainless steel piping systems with high demands on quality, documentation, and traceability. The company primarily works with clients in the pharmaceutical, food, and process industries, but also in refineries.

The work is largely performed on-site throughout Sweden and is characterized by close collaboration with customers, high quality standards, and a professional approach. The head office is located in Norrköping, and the operations in Uppsala are an important part of the company's continued growth.



Information about the role – Welding assembler

As a welding assembler at Systemsvets, you will primarily work with welding and assembly of stainless steel piping systems in technically demanding industrial environments. The work is often done in teams and together with colleagues at the customer's site.

Examples of tasks:

  • Welding and assembly of stainless steel piping systems
  • Work according to drawings, instructions, and documentation requirements
  • Contact with customers and handling of work permits
  • Ensuring quality, traceability, and correct documentation

Travel is included in the position. The working hours are typically:

  • Monday–Wednesday: 07:00–19:00
  • Thursday: 07:00–14:30

You will initially be based in Uppsala, but will work on assignments throughout Sweden.
In the long term, there is an opportunity for long-term development within the company.



We are looking for someone who
  • Is at least 18 years old
  • Has a high school diploma
  • Has a strong interest and motivation to work in the industry
  • Holds a B driver's license
  • Is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Has passed tests
  • Has passed a background check
  • Enjoys traveling for work
